Voices of Neighbors

By now some of you may know that I have been living in Minnesota for about two years now. This winter I watched as the federal government harassed, kidnapped, injured, and killed my neighbors. Donating, protesting, writing, it never feels like enough and yet collectively our individual efforts have and are making differences. I am honored to say that two of my poems, written in response to Metro Surge, have been included in the anthology Voices of Neighbors - Poems of Resistance, Remembrance, Love, and Hope Amid Immigration Enforcement. All net proceeds will go to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota and The Women’s Foundation of Minnesota’s Immigrant Rapid Response Fund.

Thank you to Katie Foag, for editing and putting together this collection. Thank you to everyone who has been doing their part to support our neighbors and to resist fascism.
